However, it is important that visitors understand that they have a responsibility to preserve its beauty for generations to come. We must erase all traces of ever being there by cleaning up after ourselves when we have finished enjoying the land. The Hoosier National Forest will remain beautiful, so long as we do our part to keep it beautiful.
